Considering that little progress has been made since then, think about the following questions: What are some barriers that might contribute to a lower diversity representation in the profession compared to the population? What if we believed that every person who walked in the door was as qualified as anyone else and could do the job as well as anyone else? What do you think prevents us from thinking differently about who is talented and who isn’t?
